Picks of the Week – February 20, 2013

It’s been one of those weeks.  Still aching from the Blizzard of 2013, and the back light on my laptop screen has burned out (at least, I think it’s just the back light).

At least it’s a new comics day.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD

Justice League of America #1 (DC Comics) – A new League is assembled by Colonel Trevor and Amanda Waller.  It’s mission, to be in place to take out the Justice League.

Justice League #17 (DC Comics) – Throne of Atlantis concludes as the Justice League faces off against the armies of Atlantis, and Aquaman confronts his brother.

Red Hood and the Outlaws #17 (DC Comics) – Normally, I don’t usually include this title in any pick of the week.  But this issue is a Death of the Family aftermath, with a very special surprise from Jason Todd.

Wrath of the First Lantern (DC Comics) – Running through the Green Lantern books in the aftermath of the Third Army crossover, The three GL books (Green Lantern #17, Green Lantern Corps #17, and Green Lantern New Guardians #17) tie into this crossover.

Savage Wolverine #2 (Marvel Comics) – It’s Wolverine and Shanna the She-Devil in the Savage Land.  What more do you need?

Happy #4 (Image Comics) – This series concludes as Nick Sax closes in on his target with help from Happy the Imaginary Horse.
