Today turned out to be one of those days. I had spent last night writing a chapter about the significance of the special weapons that appear in my story. And it seemed to flow pretty well except for one little problem.
No where in the chapter did it explain the significance of the weapons. Needless to say, tonight had a little bit of back tracking to cover that gigantic omission before moving on.
In the midst of all of this, the main character gets a hint of what is going to be thrust upon him. And the trio, sorry, quartet (the plains dwarf has joined them) return to their journey, which now may hold the key for the main character to learn his full potential.
Oh, I wiped out a village and the main male and main female characters finally kissed, much to the dismay of the young prince I introduced a while back.
Tonight, word count wise, ended up being a little slower than the pace I had been making, but it feels better, though… sort of. Currently, I’m at 30,460 words. Tomorrow, our heroes should arrive back at the keep where the story first started, much to their dismay.
