Book Review

Night of the Living TrekkiesNight of the Living Trekkies by Kevin David Anderson

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Zombie books often go either way for me. This one I actually liked a lot, mostly because 1) it remembered that the living should be the focus and not the dead, and 2) it was a unique take on the zombie concept.

100 Books In 366 Days – A Quirk

A curious little thing happened tonight when I was doing a  little reading.  I was reading one book that lists as having 256 pages.  I stopped on page 48.  A little while later, I picked up another book that I have been intending to read.  I read that book for a bit, stopping on page 48.  It just so happens that lists that book as having 256 pages.

Two books, both 256 pages, and I stopped reading both at page 48.

Dammit, no time travel, and I still remember watching it!  Now I have to resort to Plan B… amnesia!

Picks Of The Week – May 16, 2012

We come to a relatively light week for me as I start seeing rumors of books ending subscriptions from DC Comics.  I’m not sure what’s going on with that, so we’ll have to see what happens in the weeks to come.

Dating Scene Minus One – The Lines

The Dating Game

The Dating Game (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

As I mentioned before, I have withdrawn myself from the dating scene.  While I don’t seem to be having that much difficulty accepting it, there are a lot of people who do seem to take issue with my decision.  And some of the things they say to try to change my mine seem almost comical.
