Picks of the Week – August 29, 2012
Has it been one of those weeks? Wishing that Labor Day would just get here so you can have a three-day weekend?
At least it’s new comic day!
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD
Justice League #12 (DC Comics) – The Justice League’s battle with Graves concludes, but the ramifications echo through the issue. Some relationships break down, while others begin to grow, and one member of the league makes the decision to leave.
Aquaman #12 (DC Comics) – One of the Others falls as Aquaman takes the fight to Black Manta. Aquaman still stands as one of the best books of the New 52.
Justice League International Annual #1 (DC Comics) – The series wraps as new members are introduced, just in time for OMAC to go on a rampage. The conclusion of this issue ties into Justice League #12 and is something that is completely unexpected.
Wolverine and the X-Men #15 (Marvel Comics) – Battle lines are drawn as a team forms to combat the Phoenix empowered mutants, while the school gets a lot more new students.
