Book Review – The Sea-Hawk

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This pirate adventure failed to capture my interest as much as Sabatini’s Captain Blood. That is possibly because I am a big fan of the Errol Flynn movie based on that film.

Regardless of how much I liked Captain Blood, The Sea-Hawk just felt like it was going nowhere. It had similar plot points to Captain Blood, which just did not succeed in capturing my interest this time around. It is possible that with a second reading, I may find it a better book, but for now, it is merely so-so for me.
