I managed to hit 51,504 words tonight, which is pretty good considering my story was starting to peter out. If I do anything else, I may expand the final chapter, maybe make it a couple of chapters so it doesn’t feel all too rushed.
I think I may step back for a day, then tackle that one.

Thanks. I’m not entirely happy with the ending, so I may change a few of the details in it. If anything, it should push the word count up since the MC will be attacked by someone wielding the traveling shovel of death.
