I Really Miss This One - Follow-Up

A while ago, I posted how I missed the old Marvel Super Heroes Role Playing Game, along with a random roll-up of a character.  At that time, I said I would post what I came up with myself.  Here is what I came up with.

Shadowpire

Shadowpire is a member of an unspecified alien race of vampires.  He came to Earth as part of an advance scout team searching the universe for new food sources.  What he discovered is that he, along with other members of his race, had the ability to siphon off some of the abilities of any Earthling he fed on.  He is capable of probing the minds of potential victims through the same shadowy tendrils that he uses to feed off his victims.  Once he feeds off a victim, he is capable of relocating his victims by manifesting the shadowy tendril that remains attached to his victim.

Once on Earth, he discovered that there was something about the rays of the Sun as it filtered through Earth’s atmosphere that played havoc with his abilities.  The other two members of his scouting party were killed before Shadowpire realized that as long as he remained out of direct sunlight, he still was able to use his abilities.  Shadowpire remains on Earth, awaiting contact with his race with word as to whether there will be an invasion or not.
