Because I can’t leave well enough alone
This would be my third or fourth blog I’ve created. Really, I’ve lost track of how many there have been. I still sort of have a blog on Blogger (most of this stuff is under the same title), which I occasionally update. And, I have one set up on Tumblr, mostly because I wanted to see how that one works. My third blog was a bit of a departure in that I was using it to try to be creative and write a “hero blog” set within the City of Heroes game. I used MSN for this one, and never really kept it up to date.
I did try WordPress once before, kind of. It was the plug-in that Facebook had, except that the plug-in decided it did not want to work anymore. And, silly me, I did not back up some of the posts on that site to my Blogger site. Oh well, at least I get to try to remember what those posts were.
So, why try WordPress? Because I can’t leave well enough alone. Blogger worked just fine, except that the android interface only wants to use the Gmail accounts (which my blog preceded). Tumblr works just fine as well, and I can update it on the go. The only drawback is that it seems a bit too social. So, naturally, I wanted to try WordPress to see how well it did as a blog site. I’m not going full-out and paying for an official looking website, but I will try it out to see what it’s like.
More likely, it’s just going to become yet another site for me to post that I’m editing something I wrote, or disagreed with something I saw.
